Delivered and installed partially, never finished, now that they have my money they don't respond to complaints- HM

In trying to purchase a substantial amount of carpet and having it installed I first called the store. My conversation with the person in the store they just said we cant help you as the owner is out. They did not offer to take down my name, call me back or even tell me when the owner would be in. So a few days later I stopped in to the store where I was told there is carpet samples on the table and to take a look. So I did that and then asked approximately how much would it cost to install the carpet and gave her a diagram of the area I wanted carpeted.and the same person said to me I cant do that because I don't know how. I said how does a person get that done and she said she was not hired to do anything but answer the phone. I then sent my wife in and she picked out a carpet she was OK with and I called for and appointment to come and measure to do the work. it was a week later and on the day he was suppose to come the receptionist call 1 hr before the appointment (after I had taken off work) and said he needed to come 2 hour later which I was due back at work. I said I cant do that and she said she was sorry. They had well over a week to make sure they could be there. I lost the money from taking off work. No professional and I should have known but I wanted to do business locally. Never again with this company.- Mike Kilmer
